Wherever possible, photographs have been used in this book to maintain its authentic character, but where non existed, recourse had to be made to sketches. Every effort has been made to present events as seen from both sides and to give a balanced visual as verbal account of the war.

First Edition:1976. Condition of book: Apart from previous owners Name (see our picture) stuck to the front page, its a clean and a very acceptable copy. The dust Wrapper was deceiving, it had major repairs to the spine, of dust wrapper (sticky tape) but with the protective cellophane cover now, it is only noticeable on close inspection.
