Description
The Khoisan Peoples of South Africa Bushmen and Hottentots by Isaac Schapera 1930
This book deserves to be in re-print
The Khoisan Peoples of South Africa is the most precise, concise documentation on the subject of the lost cultures of the Khoisan tribes.
Other early anthropological observations on the subject, such as the Bleek’s diaries are superficial by comparison, perhaps because of vast cultural differences at the time, Khoisan peoples were seen as primitive oddities.
The work of Isaac Schapera represents the last of a cultural legacy and the a true account of our lost heritage.
Highly recommended.
